
On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Sidi Bouzid Governor Mr. Muhammad Sidqi Bououn, welcomed the Study of Islam and Democracy staff presented by the Center's President, Dr. Radwan Al-Masmoudi, and his deputy, Mr. Salahuddin Al-Jurshi.
The meeting was held to introduce youth community projects concerning the "Youth Leader for a Better Tomorrow" project in Sidi Bouzid province intends to implement in several areas to solve some of the outstanding problems.
The governor praised the "youth leaders" project, in which 40 young men and women from the state participated, and expressed his willingness to provide the necessary support for the earliest implementation of these projects.
Dr. Radwan al-Masmoudi, expressed his gratitude for the positive interaction, hoping these promises will be interpreted into reality to encourage youth and allow them to innovate and participate effectively in local and national affairs.
The proposed projects are four: "Give me a Chance" (Strengthening Youth Participation in Local Affairs), "By Making Change and to Change" (Supporting Rural Women's Products), Farmer's Project (Building a Conservation Agricultural Style), "Nawarni" (Reducing Youth Unemployment).
The projects are among 50 community-based projects produced by youth leaders in 10 states Sfax, Kairouan, Bizerte, Greater Tunisia, Jandouba, Gabes, Madinen, Sidi Bouzid, Kasserine, and Soussa, as part of the "Youth Leader for a Better Tomorrow" project launched by the center since December 2019, for the benefit of 400 young men and women. the fight against corruption and extremism, the consolidation of democracy and citizenship, leadership skills, the formulation of community projects, and these young people seek logistical and material support to implement their projects.
